Super Rugby has been designed in a new format, which was not what fans basically used to. Now it is divided into two panels, and in the knockout stage, teams will play together. Teams from South Africa, Argentina, and Japan are not playing this year because of the current pandemic. There will be 20 round-robin matches with each team playing each other twice on a home and away basis from Super Rugby AU and Super Rugby Aotearoa.
